Epworth Children and Family Services: Epworth is one of our focus ministry partners and we help them in many ways. One of our ministry teams prepares a full meal once a month to be served to the clients of the Epworth teen drop-in center. Currently the Epworth drop-in center meal program is restricted, but we can still help – here’s how….. We have been asked to donate gift cards for Subway, Aldi, and other grocery stores, so that the Epworth Staff has resources to continue providing meals to their clients. If you are willing to assist, please call the Church Office (636-464-5600) to arrange payment for a gift card(s).
There is still need for hygiene items for the Epworth Drop-In Center. Needed are:
Tooth paste and tooth brushes
Deodorant, men’s and ladies’
Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
Arnold Food Pantry: Stress upon local food pantries is also at record highs. Please read this message we received directly from Arnold Food Pantry, and consider responding to their call for help. Note that food deliveries are to be arranged with the Pantry directly, not through the Church.
“As widely reported, food donations to pantries has been down due to the hoarding taking
place at area grocery stores. The Arnold Food Pantry has also been similarly affected. The
pantry remains open and is committed to provide food and grocery items every month to its
600+ families. The pantry is encouraging businesses, organizations, churches and individuals to
consider donating food and grocery items, and their delivery can be made in a “safe distance” and
manner. A list of preferred items needed: Breakfast bars, fruit cups, pudding, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned soup (all kinds), canned chili, canned pasta, box pasta meals, applesauce, hamburger helper, sugar, flour, catsup, mustard, salad dressing, toilet paper, paper towels. (do NOT need canned corn or green beans)
Donations can be delivered anytime after 8:00am and before 12:00pm
Please call Arnold Food Pantry (636) 287-3663 with any questions.
